Crash in Orlando Kills Moped Driver
An Orlando man died Saturday night when his moped was struck by an SUV.
Justin Charles, 28, was driving northbound on Bumby Avenue just before 11 p.m. when he was struck by a 1998 Ford SUV driven by 21-year-old Joseph Santiago, also of Orlando. Santiago had been trying to turn left onto Curry Ford Road when he drove into Charles’ path, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Charles was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
