Authorities reported that a prison transport officer was killed in a truck accident in Palm Bay Florida. Officer Jeffrey Farless age 47 died after the vehicle he was driving rear ended a tractor trailer truck on I-95. The vehicle Farless was driving did not contain any other passengers.
Officials report that he was on his way back from dropping an inmate off at the Palm Beach County Jail. The vehicle hit the back of the trailer and was dragged before it stopped. The driver of the tractor trailer from Jacksonville Florida Agron Shembitrak was not injured.
